The OD-04 imitates the sound of an overdriven tube amplifier. The outputsignal contains less harmonic components than a distortion-effect, parallel applying a slight compression and increased sustain. This produces a softer, clearer tone. The tone-control allows a wide range of sounds-from dark and mellow to bright and clear.
